How the program works
Canine U will house, feed, train, and love your treasured canine companion and help provide a solid educational foundation or work on behavior modification as requested. The program requires an initial 1-month commitment with additional 2-week blocks available.
The comprehensive program contains the following:
• Beginning obedience work such as sit, down, come, walking on a leash, stand for examination.
• Redirecting unwanted behaviors like biting, chewing, and jumping up.
• Crate training
• Socialization with other canines of equivalent age while teaching your dog key commands
• Beginning foundation for housebreaking
• Behavior modification focused on specific owner concerns.
• Periodic owner interaction to understand training techniques is necessary to help maintain the foundation for life long success.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
1) Initial consultation to discuss your individual goals & expectations and completion of successful temperament test evaluation
2) All veterinary records up to date and documented
3) Completed application and non-refundable deposit to hold your scheduled reservation.
