Bocce

Bocce has been involved in several classes at Canine U, where he went from a strong-willed dog, who pulled me around on a leash and didn't recognize me as a leader, to a wonderful and obedient (for the most part!) companion. Bocce now walks beside me on a loose leash and I never hesitate to bring him around others, even children. Danielle's positive training techniques match those of any "Animal Planet" trainer that I have seen.
I have also boarded Bocce at Canine U for overnight and extended stays. He is lovingly cared for and has a full day of play, exercise, and interaction. I never worry for one minute when he is in Danielle's care, and that is saying a lot, because I am a little over-obsessive about my puppy.
When I pull into the driveway at Canine U, Bocce goes crazy. He can't wait to get there. They say that dogs know the true character of people. Bocce runs to Danielle the minute he sees her, and every time he hears her voice, his tail starts wagging!
I have been to five different training facilities with a variety of trainers, but the bottom line is Danielle has a true passion for dogs, and it shows. She has been a blessing to me and my puppy. Thanks, Danielle.
Gracie

In addition to Danielle training Gracie to be the best behaved girl in town, Danielle also trains dogs for people with special needs. I am deaf and have a balance disability. Thanks to Danielle's training, Gracie walks with the electric scooter that I ride and Gracie lets me know when the doorbell rings & the phone, and anything else that I need to know. Gracie knows that I can't hear.
I travel several times a year, and Gracie boards with Danielle at Canine U. for a month or so at a time. When Gracie is with Danielle I don't worry about her. Danielle takes care of her and any problems that might come up. There isn't anyone else I would leave Gracie with.
Bottom line, Danielle is caring, capable, and an excellent trainer. Gracie couldn't be in better hands and both Gracie and I highly recommend Danielle Wilson and Canine U.

Kobi

I've recently boarded Kobi, for his second stay at your facility, with most satisfying results. The cleanliness and professional care is unparalleled with any other facility that I have experienced. Not to mention services that are offered here.
I highly recommend your facility to any dog owner.
Toby

My dog Toby and I attended the STAR Puppy class this past summer/fall of 2010. Our overall experience was positive and at the same time very enjoyable. Class size was around 10 or 12 dogs, which made for lots of interaction with Danielle. Danielle made the experience very personable; she actually knew every dog's name after the first class. She seemed to have the ability to assess the strengths and weaknesses of each dog and its owner and worked through training issues with them right from the start.
Danielle has a very nice style. She uses demonstrations techniques with their desired goals on dogs that were in class, so that you understand the right way to do something as well as some of the pitfalls we might encounter. She also would spend time with each owner/dog team and assess how well they were doing as well as offer tips and corrections. When offering her assessment she kept it non judgmental, just the proper way to train for the desired outcome but always with a smile and a laugh.
As promised classes started and ended on time. She even gave extra time after most classes to supervise the dogs on some of her agility equipment. Classes that were cancelled due to bad weather were also scheduled in advance so that most students could adjust.
We had a great experience at Canine U and are looking forward to attending another class with Danielle this spring. I highly recommend Canine U Dog Training for anyone looking for help in training their dog.

Venture

Through my journey of learning how to adapt to a new dog in my life, not only did I have to learn how to deal with a service dog, where I couldn't treat him like a regular dog, I also had to learn how to adapt with training Venture as well. That is where Danielle came in. She is the best trainer ever. She showed me how to teach Venture to retrieve things off the floor for me; how to get him to call the elevator door button; open/close my door apt, door, with the help of a strap that hangs from the door; and a host of other things as well. I knew Danielle would help me train Venture the way he should be trained, and she did. He has passed every certification process with flying colors.
Danielle and I hit it off right away. She is very kind, very thorough and extremely fair. Anyone would be truly lucky to have her train their dog to do anything! I thank God everyday for introducing me to Danielle. If it weren't for her, Lord only knows if I would still have Venture right now. So, kudos to Mrs. Wilson for a wonderful job well done!!!
